New YouTube channel ‘Paper People Play’ to inspire creativity and skills in children and encourage engagement with families
Raleigh, NC – July 3, 2018 – Good news for parents in quest of fun ways to engage with children. Leading art piece store Brookish & Lanky has launched a new YouTube channel which is aimed to encourage engagement within the family through creative plays that will foster fun and positive interactions. Titled “Paper People Play”, the channel is aspiring to inspire both parents and children to spend more quality time together through art relatable to audiences of varying ages.
The first episode of Paper People Play will be aired on July 4, 2018.
The Paper People web series will stream both original plays and plays based on Aesop’s Fables that will be performed by the little Paper People characters themselves. There are 6 Paper People (characters) namely Page, Trace-E, Tear Reesa, Cowboy Mark, Ticket and Wal-Tear. Each comes with their own personality, history and unique appeal. Every play performed by them at the Paper People shows will carry a moral lesson at the end to enlighten children about life lessons and values.
“We are excited to announce the launch of our new YouTube channel ‘Paper People Play’. The show is especially designed to encourage children to use their imagination and learn about the necessary moral lessons on the way. Additionally, our plays are created to charm the adults as well so that both you and your kid can enjoy some quality time together through art and positivity”, stated Kristin Broadwell & Brooke Broadwell, the founder sisters of Brookish & Lanky.
The Paper People characters are a bunch of cute little paper dolls. Their clothes can be changed as per the specific roles they portray in each of the plays throughout the episodes of the web series.
“Akin to traditional paper dolls, our Paper People too will change clothes- but most importantly, they will change into varied ‘costumes’ as they will be portraying different characters in various plays.”
Brookish & Lanky, Co. will provide these costumes for children to play along or make their own original plays with them. The costumes will be easily interchangeable between the 4 characters who will also don the role of actors in the plays. Children will be taught to color which will help to enhance their motor skills, stimulate creativity and also assure great entertainment for them.
As per the further statements from the founders, the Paper People shows will also allow adults to join the coloring trend which is being widely adopted by adults today to de-stress and relax.
Paper People Play will also introduce the latest state of the art Watercolor Brush Pens from Brookish & Lanky which will serve as a great coloring tool for the children and adults watching the plays.
“Our new Watercolor Brush Pens are exclusively designed to assure a no-mess high quality art experience and will serve as the best tool to enjoying the coloring activities of our plays.”
